JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club’s 13th Annual Pica’s Margarita Cup kicked off last night at Snow King Mountain with a solid showing from some of Jackson’s most professional, non-professional racers in the game.

Yesterday, Team Pup ‘n Suds came in first with 67 points. At a tie for second place were Puppy Love and Rental Boots, Skis and Homes with 64 points. Rounding out the podium was the Bronc Collective with 62 points.

Individually, Bronc Collective’s Thomas Connell had the fastest final result time with a 38.43. Kris Hopkins of Puppy Love took a close second with a 38.61, and in third was Brendan Levine of Salty Jackalopes with a 40.78.

Katie Burton was the fastest woman with a time of 42.71 representing Team Pup ‘n Suds. She was followed by Puppy Love’s Kristie Ryan (43.53) and Allie Ziegler (46.09).

The “Marg Cup” is a fun and social, locals’ race league with a competitive spirit. Skiers and snowboarders of all abilities are welcome to race for the Cup. The scoring has been designed to give even novice racers the ability to earn a high score and help their team win.
