JACKSON, Wyo. – One of the most exciting days of the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce Fall Arts Festival returns tomorrow, when the Jackson Hole QuickDraw & Auction transforms Town Square into a live celebration of art, creativity and community, followed by an evening celebrating the artists who make it possible.

Beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday, 31 acclaimed artists will set up inside Town Square and face a challenge unlike a traditional day in the studio: create an original work of art in just 90 minutes.

Spectators can watch the creative process unfold from the first brushstroke to the finishing touches as painters and sculptors work against the clock.

That creative energy is part of what recently earned Jackson Hole the distinction of being named the #1 Most Arts-Vibrant Community in the United States in the 2025 SMU DataArts Arts Vibrancy Index. QuickDraw puts that arts vibrancy on full display, bringing artists, collectors, galleries, locals and visitors together in the heart of downtown.

There will be plenty of activity surrounding Town Square, too, with the Jackson Hole Farmers Market happening simultaneously along Center Street and Broadway.

Once the 90-minute countdown ends, the excitement moves to the QuickDraw Auction Tent, where the freshly completed artwork will go under the hammer beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Part of what makes the auction special is the connection between artist, artwork and bidder. Buyers aren’t simply seeing a finished piece hanging on a gallery wall. They have watched it take shape moments earlier. Then, with paint barely dry, that one-of-a-kind piece heads to the auction block.

Those hoping for a seat inside the Auction Tent should plan ahead. Tickets are $30 per person and include seating along with mimosas, coffee and pastries. Seating is limited, and anyone interested in participating in the auction is strongly encouraged to purchase tickets before 11:59 p.m. tonight, Friday. A limited number of seats may be available at the door Saturday, but purchasing in advance offers the best opportunity to secure a spot.

And the celebration doesn’t end when the final piece is sold!

From 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, the festivities continue with the QuickDraw Artist Celebration at Altamira Fine Art. Join the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce in congratulating this year’s QuickDraw artists and raising a glass to another successful event.

Artist Celebration tickets are $50 per person and include an evening of food, wine, beer and cocktails from a variety of local Jackson Hole purveyors. It’s an opportunity to reconnect with the artists after the intensity of the morning, celebrate their work and spend an evening with the community that makes Jackson Hole such an extraordinary arts destination.

Whether an avid collector, a longtime Fall Arts Festival fan or simply curious to watch talented artists create under pressure, Saturday offers a uniquely Jackson Hole experience from morning through evening, and a chance to experience firsthand why this community has earned national recognition for its arts vibrancy.

Come downtown, watch a masterpiece take shape in 90 minutes, experience the excitement of the auction and then celebrate the artists who bring QuickDraw to life.
