JACKSON,WY— Eco-conscious Jackson area residents will soon have a greener alternative to keep warm this winter. Local company Lawngevity Landscapes is now distributing the North Idaho Energy Log, an all-natural manufactured log that boasts a cleaner, hotter burn.  Adam Fletcher, co-owner of Lawngevity says, “Energy Logs produce significantly more heat and fewer emissions than traditional logs.  In terms of warmth and efficiency, they really can’t be beat.”

The producers of North Idaho Energy Logs say, “Because we don’t use chemicals or binders during manufacturing (only pressure), Energy Logs create more heat with less particulate emissions, less ash, and little or no residue.” The manufacturers also note that Energy Logs can cut emissions by 95%, significantly improving air quality and meaningfully decreasing soot and creosote buildup in fireplaces and stoves.

Not only are Energy Logs more efficient than traditional alternatives, but they also take up less space.  One small 3’ by 3’ pallet of Energy Logs has the same heating capacity as 1.5 to 2 cords of traditional firewood.

Adam of Lawngevity is excited to be the first Energy Log distributer in Jackson.  He states “I think Energy Logs will be really well-received by the community. They are perfect for environmentally conscious Jackson residents who are interested in maximizing heat efficiency during our cold winters.”

For Jackson residents interested in sticking with good old-fashioned firewood, Adam emphasizes that Lawngevity will still offer traditional wood. “Above all, Lawngevity is interested in offering customers varied heating solutions that meet their needs,” Adam says.
