GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK — As a result of one of the many projects in Grand Teton National Park (GTNP) this summer, one of which is restoration to an area close to the Taggart Lake Trailhead, some parts of popular trails will remain closed through Nov. 15.

The northern segment of the Taggart Lake Trail will be closed for restoration work in partnership between GTNP and the Grand Teton National Park Foundation (GTNPF). While the parking lot remains open and the lakes are still reachable, there is a required alternate route which adds approximately one extra mile to the hike.

Visitors of GTNP should follow the posted signs to follow the alternate route.
