JACKSON, Wyo. — This Monday, Nov. 11, a number of local Jackson Hole restaurants are inviting retired military veterans, and active duty military personnel, to dine in for free in honor of Veterans Day.
The Whistling Grizzly
On Veterans Day, all active duty and retired military veterans will eat for free at The Whistling Grizzly inside the Wyoming Inn.
This is valid for one free entree of a value up to $47 per table.
Additionally, from Nov. 12 to 16, all active duty and retired military veterans will receive 20% off the bill if they mention the Whistling Grizzly ad.
Elk’s Lodge
On Veterans Day, the Jackson Hole Elk’s Lodge annual Veteran’s Day Celebration will include a beef tenderloin dinner and Special Guest Myles Still, a decorated combat pilot who flew hundreds of missions during the Vietnam War.
This event is open to all community members and free to veterans. For all other guests, dinner is $20.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be at 6 p.m. Email elks@jacksonhoelelks.org to reserve a seat.
Blue Collar Restaurant Group
Veterans will eat for free at Sidewinders, Merry Piglets, Noodle Kitchen, Bubba’s and Liberty Burger, excluding alcohol. The offer is only for dine-in, no take out orders.
The Blue Lion will offer veterans 20% off the bill.
Senior Center of Jackson Hole
The Bank of Jackson Hole is hosting a special prime rib dinner to say thank you to the nation’s veterans. Tickets are required, but non-senior veterans and seniors can attend for free.
