‘Value Jackson’ honoree for December is Sam Stephens

JACKSON HOLE, WYO –Congratulations are in order for Sam Stephens, the town’s Senior Collection System Operator. Stephens is the recipient of this month’s Value Jackson Award.

Last month’s winner, Town Manager Larry Pardee, nominated Stephens for the recognition.

“I truly believe there are many folks in our organization who are deserving of this award today and to that note, I can only select one person, and I select Sam Stephens to be the next recipient for this award,” Pardee said. “Sam embodies the true spirit of being a ‘team player.’ He consistently goes above and beyond in his own department to accomplish core work activities, and yet still finds time to reach out to other departments and help them accomplish their core work activities. He does this even when they don’t request help.”

Pardee continued, “He takes responsibility and accountability for getting the job done any day or time of the week. I would say that Sam is great at throwing a ‘life-line’ to a co-worker and/or team who is experiencing challenges. He is a great addition to the Town of Jackson organization, and embodies the philosophy and ideals of our values and our culture. Also of note, Sam is humble, nice, friendly and an all-around good person to have as a member of our organization.”

Each month one Town of Jackson employee who has demonstrated exemplary levels of one or more of the Town Values is honored with the Value Jackson award.

Great job, Sam!
