UPDATE: The highway reopened at 5:25 p.m., per a WYDOT alert.

JACKSON, Wyo. — A car crash at milepost 128 on US89 has closed the highway in both directions between Alpine Junction and Hoback Junction on Wednesday afternoon.

Driver alerts by the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) notified recipients of the crash at 4:40 p.m., and of the closure moments later. The estimated opening time is unknown.
