JACKSON, Wyo. — The Town of Jackson’s milling and repaving project on Snow King Avenue, running from Flat Creek Drive to Scott Lane, is scheduled to last through Friday, Sept. 26.
Construction crews from Evans Construction completed the milling work from Flat Creek Drive to Virginian Lane on Monday, Sept. 22, allowing that section of road to open. The mill work on the section from Virginian Lane to Scott Lane was completed yesterday.
According to the Town, starting today, the paving work will start at Flat Creek Drive and proceed west. Flat Creek Drive to Virginian Lane will be closed, except for school buses. Virginian Lane to Scott Lane will be open, but the Town still recommends driving either Scott Lane or Flat Creek Drive to Broadway as an alternate route.

On Thursday, paving will begin where the crew finishes on Wednesday toward Scott Lane, so this section will be closed, except for school buses. Flat Creek Drive to Virginian Lane will be open, but the Town still recommends taking the alternate route.
Construction crews plan to complete the repaving operations on Friday. The schedule is weather dependent and subject to change.
“Drive slowly and be aware that road markings will be limited at this time,” the Town of Jackson wrote via press release. “Sidewalks will remain open and should be used with caution.”
The Town thanks residents in the area in advance for their patience and understanding as crews work to maintain the community’s infrastructure.
