JACKSON, Wyo. – Halloween is right around the corner and a few events are going on in Jackson.
Pumpkin Carving
Community Safety Network (CSN) will host a pumpkin carving party at Miller Park today, Oct. 19 from 5-6:30 p.m. Hot drinks, treats, pumpkins, tools, and decorations will all be provided free of charge.
In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, there will be lots of purple paint and decorations. CSN is encouraging folks to decorate their pumpkins in all things purple.
Trick or Treat on Town Square
The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce will host a Trick or Treat on Town Square on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
A social media costume contest will coincide with the event. Tag #TrickorTreatonTownSquare and tag @jhchamber while trick-or-treating to be entered to win!
The event is back this year after being canceled due to COVID-19 concerns in 2020.
Halloween Maze at Axis Gymnastics
Axis Gymnastics booster club is hosting a free Halloween maze on Oct. 30 from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. The event is free and open to the public for children ages two to six years old. Axis Gymnastics says, “Come dressed in your costume and ready to jump your way through the maze.”
Halloween Hustle Fun Run and 5K
In lieu of the Turkey Trot this year, Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation is hosting the Halloween Hustle and 5k on Oct. 30 at 9 a.m at the Recreation Center. The race is sponsored by the Bank of Jackson Hole, Teton County Weed and Pest, Skinny Skis, and Pearl St. Bagels. It is $14 for adults and $10 for youth. Costume and race prizes will be awarded.
