JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Integrated Solid Waste & Recycling (ISWR) has announced that it will transition into its winter schedule on Monday, Nov. 6.

The Trash Transfer station will be open from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon.

ISWR also requests that customers clear snow off of their license plates before arriving.

Hours at the Recycling Center will not change for the season.

Ahead of the change, the Trash Transfer Station will accept up to 500 pounds of residential yard waste free of charge from Monday, Oct. 30, through Friday, Nov. 3, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Residents are invited to bring leaves, grass, pumpkins and branches to the event, either loose or in compostable bags. Free bags are now available for pickup at Town Hall, the Public Works Administrative Office and the Recycling Center.

Materials collected will be composted locally by Terra Firma Organics.
