Holiday closures set for Trash Transfer Station and Recycling Center

JACKSON, Wyo. — Between presents and parties, trash and recycling really pile up during the holidays. Be mindful of closure and holiday hours at both the Trash Transfer Sation and the Teton County Recycling Center.

The Recycling Center will be open from 9 a.m.–12 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24th and closed Wednesday, December 25. The Recycling Center will also be closed on Wednesday, January 1. No commercial unloading will be available.

The Trash Transfer Station will be closed on Wednesday, December 25 and January 1. No commercial unloading will be available. The Trash Transfer Station will remain open for regular winter business hours on December 24th, 8 a.m.–3 p.m.

As always, outdoor recycling bins at the Recycling Center and throughout the community are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If bins are full, don’t leave recyclables on the ground. Bins will be emptied on the following business day. Please be considerate and flatten all cardboard. Please keep in mind that gift wrap is not recyclable.
