Tram and Sublette start spinning this weekend at JHMR

TETON VILLAGE, WY— It’s already been an exciting season at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. It saw a powder day on day one, invited singer-songwriter Ryan Bingham to snowboard with Travis Rice (check out the video on Bingham’s Facebook), and most recently were voted Forbes Magazine’s #1 ski resort in North America—for the eight year in a row.

“JHMR being named the #1 ski resort for the eighth year in a row is a great honor for Jackson Hole as Forbes considers the entire resort experience from terrain and snowfall to lifts and ease of access,” said JHMR president Mary Kate Buckley in a statement. “Solitude Station, which opened this year, is already becoming a popular amenity for our Mountain Sports School guests, and will only enhance the experience here this winter.

The excitement continues this weekend—JHMR will open the Aerial Tram and Sublette Chairlift Saturday, December 8, granting access to to 4,139 vertical feet of terrain.

“With cold temperatures, great natural snow and the improved snowmaking system, we’ve been able to offer our guests a tremendous start to the season.” stated Vice President of Operations, Tim Mason.

Get there early and claim your turns. See you on the tram!
