JACKSON, Wyo. — More than 16 of the best cowboy artisans in the West will gather in Jackson, Wyoming, on April 29 and 30 to share their stories and master work with the public, offer workshops and demonstrations and take custom orders.

The craft traditions of ranching will include saddle-making, leatherwork, silversmithing, hats and boots, horsehair braiding, rawhide braiding, lace-making and forge blacksmithing.

On Saturday, April 29, there will be a Master Work Exhibit and Sale in the Jackson Room at the Wort Hotel from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and an informal evening of music and storytelling at the Jackson Hole Playhouse starting at 7:30 p.m. Both special events are free and open to the public.

A variety of workshops and demonstrations will be offered on Sunday, April 30, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., including opportunities to learn about leather painting, cinch-making, bit and spurs silverwork and boot-making. The workshops will be free to anyone between 14 and 25 years old and require reservations by texting 307-413-5847.
