JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County and the Town of Jackson are asking residents to participate in a survey regarding the transportation needs of West Jackson.
The survey results will impact the transportation plan for West Jackson, which seeks to improve safety and circulation in the area, according to the County. Those who participate will be asked to rate the importance of topics such as access to High School and South Park Loop Roads, internal pathways, dead-ends or cul-de-sacs, cut-through traffic and access to US89.
There are also opportunities to express one’s biggest concerns about getting around or to/from the neighborhoods, emphasize priorities for the future of the area’s transportation and note what’s already working in the existing infrastructure.
New data concerning current traffic loads and safety statistics are also available on the survey site. The future of the neighborhood could be impacted by the development of Northern South Park, which is currently under consideration by the Teton County Board of County Commissioners.
