JACKSON, Wyo. — During the regular meeting on Tuesday, the Jackson Town Council approved the sketch plan for a new 67,000 square foot mixed-use building for the properties located at 50 S. Cache Street and 45 and 75 E. Pearl Avenue.

The new development requires 6.57 deed-restricted units, but applying the previous credits attached to the property, a housing credit of 3.86 units will remain on the site even after the project is complete.

The development just south of Jackson’s Town Square, will displace several businesses and restaurants including Thai Me Up, The Ranch Inn, Grace Spa and Wyoming Camera Outfitters.

The proposal includes a ground level with six commercial spaces which are intended for retail but may be used for other purposes. The second and third levels include 17 short-term rental condos. Also proposed is two private amenity spaces. The first, a 16,200-sf private courtyard above the parking garage and second a 3,560-sf private deck above the second floor on Pearl Avenue.

The Jackson Town Council passed the sketch plan in a 4-1 vote with Jim Rooks opposed. The Planning Commission approved the sketch plan in Dec. 2021.
