JACKSON, Wyo. — For now, Pearl Street Bagels and other businesses on Pearl Street will remain unchanged. The plan to remodel the northwest corner of Pearl Ave. and Glenwood St., a parcel owned by Jeff Neishabouri, was officially denied by Town Council on Monday, May 18.

The initial application for the proposal was submitted last October, and has since gone before the Planning Commission, which recommended denial of the plan in a January meeting, and the Design Review Committee.

Following those meetings, the project was set to be discussed at Town Council in March, but instead the applicant was given a 45-day continuance in order to submit an updated document regarding the development.

At the Town Council meeting on May 18, no updated plans had been submitted and Neishabouri was not present nor had an updated development plan been submitted for the project.

When Buckrail reached out to Neishabouri, he declined to comment on the denial.

“We have decided to put it on pause for now,” Neishabouri said in a text message.
