JACKSON, Wyo. — A fundraiser event to benefit Turkey and Syria earthquake victims will take place tonight at the Jackson Hole High School Auditorium.

The event, hosted by Jackson Hole High School (JHHS) students and the Rotary Interact Club with support from teachers, will feature a speaker and a movie.

Event speaker, Kylie Austin Sabourin, is a graduate student and 2020 Wallop Student Fellow in International Studies at UW with expertise on the civilian fallout of the Syrian Civil War.

The movie showing will feature the film “The White Helmets,” an award-winning documentary detaling the lives and heroic roles of volunteer forces in the Syrian Civil War.

The event will begin at 6:15 p.m. in the JHHS auditorium. All are welcome. Donations will be accepted through Venmo, checks or cash.
