JACKSON, Wyo. — Meet local candidates in this year’s races for nonpartisan board seats at a general election forum on Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Teton County Library.
Hear from the folks vying for seats on boards overseeing the Teton County School District, St. John’s Health and the Teton Conservation District.
Presented by the League of Women Voters of Wyoming, Teton County Library, the Jackson Hole News&Guide, KHOL Radio and Buckrail, these forums provide the opportunity to get to know the people behind the names on the ballot. Candidates will participate in a Q&A moderated by media partners, including questions from the audience.
The event begins at 6 p.m. and is scheduled to run for approximately 90 minutes. The forum will also be taped, with a recording available online at TCLib.org after the event.
Forum events continue into October! Town Council candidates will be present for the Oct. 7 event; Sheriff and Coroner candidates will participate in the Oct. 8 conversations; on Oct. 14, meet candidates for House District 23 and County Assessor.
