JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton Music School turns the Center for the Arts into a two-day festival of student performances, rock bands, choirs, and community music this weekend.
Part recital, part community festival, TMS Fest is Teton Music School’s annual student showcase, bringing together students, families, teachers, and audiences from across the community.
On Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16, audiences can move between student recitals in the music wing, open mic performances in the amphitheater, and sets from TMS’s elementary, middle, and high school rock bands. Youth Choir, Jam 55+, and Music Therapy students from Community Entry Services also perform, with participants ranging from first-time performers to longtime musicians.
Saturday afternoon is the heart of the festival, with group performances from 1 to 4 p.m. and teen rock bands headlining the amphitheater stage at 2:30 p.m. Center concessions will be open, and attendees can participate in free family activities like friendship bracelet making, cornhole, and sidewalk chalk art throughout the afternoon.
“TMS Fest is one of my favorite weekends of the year,” said Amanda Flosbach, Executive Director of Teton Music School. “You get to watch students surprise themselves with what they can do, and you become part of the community that forms around people making music together.”
Schedule subject to change. More information and the full festival schedule can be found at TMS Fest ’26 Schedule.
