Theater, art, and all the jazz: #WonderWednesday

The Follies, Paint & Sip, then Kick Ball Change! This week’s WonderWednesday provides details on the live performance of The Follies from The National Theater, a fun paint and sip class at Snake River Brewing, art gallery openings, and a dance workshop for those interested in auditioning for Chicago.

Paint & Sip is the perfect place for the beginner painter to practice their brush strokes while enjoying a libation and enjoying lots of laughs at Snake River Brewing on Wednesday, November 14th at 6:30 pm.  Michele Walters instructs the class and can bring out the Picasso in anyone!

The Follies, Stephen Sondheim’s legendary musical, will be broadcast live from the National Theatre to the Center Theater on Thursday, November 15th at 7 pm.  Set in New York, 1971, there’s a party on the stage of the Weisman Theatre the night before its demolition.  Don’t miss all the laughter, music and stories!

Ben Roth is at it again with his unique sculptures, and is sharing the stage with Jake Davis’s incredible photography at Tuner Fine Art.  Don’t miss the “Where There is No Path” opening reception from 5-7 pm.

One, singular sensation…for those wanting to polish their “kick-ball-change” in preparation for the Chicago auditions, join professional dancer, Tenessa Singleton for the Dance For Musical Workshop hosted by Riot Act on Saturday, November 17th from 12-3 pm.
