JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Rolls-Royce has decided on Jackson Hole for the much-anticipated launch of its inaugural SUV.
The Cullinan will bear a price tag fitting of RR and JH. The 5,864-pound luxury SUV will start at $325,000, leaving its nearest competitors—the Lamborghini Urus and the Bentley Bentayga (both around $200k)—far in the rearview mirror.
The Town of Jackson recently struck an agreement with Rolls Royce Motor Cars North America (RRMC) to allow the automobile manufacturer to store and stage its new line of Cullinans from September 21 through October 1.
Rolls-Royce approached the town needing a secure and clean location for storage of its fleet in advance of a worldwide launch at Amangani that is expected to include about 250 top global publications comprising automotive, lifestyle, travel, design, business and many other sectors.
Rolls-Royce said they will wine and dine their guests with a range of local activities and experiences including dining around the town, fly fishing, museum and art gallery tours, wild life photography, scenic flights, winery visits and horseback riding.
“All these activities are in support of your local community. All-in-all we will be spending several million dollars in Jackson,” a RRMC rep promised town leaders.
Details of the storage agreement lease show the town receiving $10 a day per vehicle stored and a $25 per vehicle setup fee for an anticipated total of $2,430.
