JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Jackson Drug is open. Let those historic words sink in.
For more than eight decades the lunch counter at Jackson Drug store was the place to be. But the drug store and its popular malt shop lunch counter was gone with the change of the millennium in 2001, converted to a rug shop. But the longing (and the rumors) never went away.
Buckrail broke the news back in March that Jackson Drug would return to the town square in essentially its old form.

Today, we offer the public a sneak peek at the menu and exclusive photos from inside.
A lot of the old luster can still be found in the drugstore on the corner of the town square including some of the same fixtures. Other features are decidedly newfangled.
Jackson Drug now serves beer and wine. The menu includes some eye-poppers like a $65 burger and a $65 dollar ice cream sundae.
Jackson Drug will also be open late on weekends to catch some of the downtown nightlife patrons. Hours for now are Sunday-Thursday, 10am-9pm; Friday and Saturday, 10am-11pm.
