JACSON, Wyo. — Drawing on inspiration from Parisian-style brasseries, The Bistro is the latest concept by Fine Dining Restaurant Group and the perfect spot for lunch in downtown Jackson.
Warm, welcoming and steps away from the Jackson Hole Town Square, The Bistro is an easy mid-day getaway – sophisticated enough for a business meeting yet relaxed and comfortable enough for a more casual lunch break. The setting is modern and comfortable – guests can catch the action at the stunning zinc bar, or enjoy a variety of dynamic dining areas for more intimate gatherings.
“There are days when stepping away from the office is needed,” says Alex Beekman, a Jackson resident and Bistro regular. “I love that The Bistro is just a short walk away and and that the atmosphere is lively and the food options varied and delicious.”

The menu is seasonal yet varied and well-executed. Boasting French bistro classics such as Onion Soup, Tuna Niçoise, Carpaccio, Quiche and Croque Madame, it also features an impressive raw bar, seasonal salads, elevated sandwiches (don’t miss the Avocado Grilled Cheese, Basque Chorizo Sandwich, Pastrami Reuben or the signature Bistro Burger) and distinctive entrees such as Trout Almondine and Moules Frites. Need an afternoon pick-me-up? Try one of The Bistro’s carefully crafted cocktails.
“Craving a good hamburger? They have it,” Beekman says. “Something comforting that feels like brunch, try the Croque Madame. Savory and cozy? A cup of French Onion soup really hits the spot. It’s hip without being pretentious and laidback enough that I can relax and unwind. It’s my go-to lunch spot.”
Pair the French Onion Soup with a Watercress Endive Salad.
Lunch is available seven days a week from 11:30 a.m.–3 p.m. A weekend brunch menu is available alongside the regular lunch menu every Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m.–3 p.m.
