JACKSON, Wyo. — The weather pendulum continues to swing.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the Teton and Gros Ventre ranges, in effect from noon on Wednesday to 11 p.m. on Thursday.

“Snow expected,” the advisory reads. “Total snow accumulations generally between 6 and 12 inches with locally higher amounts to 18 inches across the Tetons. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.”

Yellowstone National Park is also expected to get between 6 and 12 inches of snow, with heaviest concentrations in the southwestern corner of the park.

The weather service advises that the precipitation could make travel “very difficult” over Teton Pass and Togwotee Pass. Drivers should slow down and exercise caution.
