DRIGGS, Idaho — Teton County Idaho Search and Rescue (TCISAR) is firing up the grill this weekend and inviting the community to join in celebrating the donors, volunteers and partners who help make every rescue possible.

TCISAR confirmed to Buckrail that it will be barbecuing burgers and brats from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25, at its headquarters at 70 West Buxton Avenue in Driggs. The rescue organization is taking the opportunity to thank community members for their unwavering support. It is also a chance for locals to meet the crew and explore gear used by the team.

“Meet your local heroes, check out the rescue gear and rigs, and enjoy free burgers and sausages hot off the grill starting at noon,” reads a Facebook post from TCISAR. “Come for the food. Stay for the fun and backcountry talk with friends and neighbors.”
