DRIGGS, Idaho — Heads up, Teton Valley parents: it’s time for kindergarten registration.

If a child will be 5 years old by September 1, 2024, parents can register them for kindergarten in Teton School District schools, including Driggs Elementary, Tetonia Elementary and Victor Elementary.

Parents must call the desired school to make a registration appointment, and they must bring completed enrollment forms, the home language survey, the parent employment survey, a birth certificate and immunization records to the appointment. Forms are available at the elementary schools and online at tsd401.org under Student Enrollment.

According to the registration announcement, teacher requests are not accepted, as the schools aim to balance classrooms based on gender, birthdate and “kinder readiness.”

Enrollment is also open for Driggs Elementary’s Dual Immersion program, with applications accepted until May 15.
