WILSON, Wyo. — Teton Pass will close tomorrow, Jan. 6, at noon for avalanche control, WYDOT announced today.

Winter conditions, increasing avalanche hazard and reduced visibility could force an earlier closure.

Parking will be prohibited between the state line closure gate (mile post 17) and the Wilson, Wyo. closure gate (mile post 7) starting at 8 p.m. tonight. It will be strictly enforced.

Highway travelers and backcountry users are advised to plan accordingly.
