JACKSON HOLE, WYO –
UPDATE (2:50pm): Pass is now open.
Highway crews brought down a bunch on Teton Pass during avalanche control early this morning. The resulting intentionally-triggered slide will require burning some diesel for quite a while today. Heavy machinery is moving snow as fast as possible.
WYDOT expects the pass to reopen sometime today in late afternoon.
