ALTA, Wyo. Music, nibbles, and fun will mark this coming Friday at the Alta Branch of Teton County Library.

The 10th anniversary celebration, featuring cowboy songs and home baked goodies, takes place from 2–3 p.m. at the library location on Alta School Rd.

When asked about the importance of a library presence within a community, Library Assistant Senior, Stephanie Crockett told Buckrail “The Alta branch as part of the Alta community provides a space for kids to come after school and before ski practice.”

“It’s a place for adults to get to know one another or work in a comfortable home-away-from-home space with an incredible view!

Following the much anticipated anniversary date are several additional December events. Alta Branch library hosts and 11 a.m.3 p.m. wreath making, an 11 a.m.3 p.m. ornament making, and a 13 p.m. gingerbread decoration on December 7, 14, and 21 respectively.
