JACKSON, Wyo. — The Teton County Trash Transfer Station and Recycling Center will both be closed on the upcoming holidays of Christmas and New Years Day.

The Trash Transfer Station will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25, and Wednesday, Jan. 1. It will be open to the public under normal business hours on Tuesday, Dec. 24, Thursday, Dec. 26, Tuesday, Dec. 31, and Thursday, Jan. 2, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Recycling Center will be closed Wednesday, Dec. 25, and Wednesday, Jan. 1. The office will close early, at 12 p.m., on Tuesday, Dec. 24.

As always, outdoor recycling bins at the Recycling Center and all community recycling sites are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Community members are asked to be considerate and flatten all cardboard to prevent overflow. If bins are full, do not leave recyclables on the ground; try a different community site or hold them until bins can be emptied the following business day.

Traditional gift wrap is not recyclable.
