JACKSON, Wyo. — According to the Wyoming Department of Health vaccine data, 39.72% of Teton County is fully vaccinated. The county boasts the highest vaccination numbers in the state.
While the distribution of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine paused on Apr. 13, the county has successfully carried on with the vaccine distribution process with the use of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
As of today, 137,308 Wyoming residents have received two doses of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine and are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Not only does the county lead in overall vaccinations, but also in the percentage of vaccinated adults age 18 and older (48.8%), and those over the age of 65 (66.8%).
In order to achieve herd immunity, upwards of 75% of the community will need to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
Teton County Health Department is accepting walk-ins from 8:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m. any day the clinic is operating. The clinic is currently located at 510 US-89 Jackson, WY, where the new Target will be located.
