JACKSON, Wyo. — The Teton County Health Department’s (TCHD) Sexual and Reproductive Health team invites the community to a free testing event for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), all participants will receive swag and can enter a raffle, on Saturday, Dec. 2.

For those with a Wyoming address, testing be will free at Saturday’s event. For people who don’t have a Wyoming address, the clinic will address needs on a case by case basis to ensure testing is accessible and affordable. Residents can walk into the clinic anytime from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., no appointments are needed.

Testing for common STIs such as HIV, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis and Hep C will be administered. According to the TCHD, getting tested for STIs is one of the most important things that can be done to protect one’s health.

All participants will be entered into a raffle for a gift certificate that includes a meal for two at any Fine Dining Restaurant Group restaurant.

Be prepared for possible wait times. For those not able to attend this Saturday, STD/STI testing appointments are also available during the weekdays and can be made by calling (307) 733-6401.
