JACKSON HOLE, WYO –A half mile of the North Pathway along US Highway 191 will be closed beginning Monday, May 8 to allow WYDOT to Wyoming DEQ to perform work on monitoring wells in the area.
The closure is directly across from the Elk Refuge Inn, one mile north of the pathway start in the town of Jackson. It will extend approximately one half mile to the WYDOT pullout area between Flat Creek Inn and the National Museum of Wildlife Art.
Cyclists and pedestrians will be re-routed onto the highway shoulder through the closure area. The contractor performing the work will provide signage to direct pathway traffic through the closure area, and will place cones on the highway shoulder to separate pathway users from motor vehicles on the highway.
The closure is expected to run from Monday, May 8 through Friday, May 12.
