JACKSON, Wyo. — A 39-year-old Florida man was airlifted from an accident site after colliding with a tree on a snowmobile this afternoon.
According to Teton County Search and Rescue, the man was snowmobiling near the Brooks Lake Trail system.
At 2:21 p.m., TSCAR responded to a call about an accident near the Continental Divide parking lot off of Togwotee Pass.
TCSAR conducted a successful short-haul from the accident site to the highway, where he was then transported by ambulance to St. John’s Health for medical treatment.
The victim, whose name is not yet known, is in stable condition but sustained severe head injuries.
