TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — Teton County Search and Rescue (TCSAR) was active yesterday Feb. 7 near Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

According to TCSAR, a skier suffered a lower leg injury after descending Pucker Face, just south of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort boundary.

“Jackson Hole Ski Patrol responded initially, and after assessing the patient alerted TCSAR that the skier would need a helicopter short-haul extraction. As TCSAR flew to the scene, ski patrol packaged the patient and he was short-hauled to an ambulance at the base of Teton Village,” said TCSAR in an Instagram post.
