JACKSON, Wyo. — The Teton County Health Department’s (TCHD) Seasonal Vaccine Clinic is reminding the public that it’s not too late to get Covid-19 and flu vaccines.
Located in the Target Plaza (510 US-89) between Glamour Nails and Subway, the vaccine clinic will be open for another three weeks; its last day of operation is on Thursday, Dec. 19.
The clinic offers the 2024 to 2025 updated Covid-19 and regular dose flu vaccines for anyone six months of age and older. High-dose flu vaccine for adults 65+ is no longer
available.
The clinic is open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to
6:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome on any clinic day, and appointments can be booked here.
Free Covid-19 and flu vaccines are available for uninsured adults and children, while supplies last.
According to a TCHD press release, the CDC recommends everyone age six months and older should be up to date on their seasonal vaccines, including the Covid-19 and flu vaccine, as the colder winter months bring more people indoors for gatherings.
The CDC states that if someone recently had Covid-19, they may delay getting a Covid-19 vaccine for three months after symptoms started or after receiving a positive test result with no symptoms. However, anyone can receive the Covid-19 vaccine anytime after a recent infection. TCHD says that getting vaccinated can prevent severe illness, hospitalization and death.
Every U.S. household is also eligible to order four free at-home Covid-19 tests here.
