JACKSON, Wyo. — On Friday, Nov. 8, the Fund for Public Education and Community Foundation of Jackson Hole announced the launch of the 2024-25 Teton County Scholarship Program for high school seniors.
The application period opens at noon on Nov. 13 and closes on Jan.17, 2025, at 5 p.m.
Over 70 scholarship opportunities will be available to all high school seniors in Teton County, including homeschooled students.
“The Teton County Scholarship Program is one of the best tools that our community has for helping students achieve their career goals and dreams,” Fund for Public Education Executive Director Jennifer Jellen said in the announcement. “More than 60 donors come together to support an average of 150 students each year. This is truly a remarkable feat and we hope every student in Teton County will take advantage of this generous opportunity.”
According to the Fund for Public Education, the Teton County Scholarship Program was founded more than 30 years ago with the goal of helping local students continue their education after high school. The program includes opportunities for all academic paths, including two and four year colleges and universities as well as vocational schools and career programs. The program awards more than $1 million each year.
