Targhee Music Camp Scholarship Deadline is today Mountain Mountain range Buckrail - Jackson Hole, news

ALTA, WYO – Bluegrass, old-time and acoustic music pickers looking to attend the 14th Annual Targhee Music Camp August 6-9 have until the end of today to apply for a scholarship. The intimate camp features top-notch instruction. This year’s teachers include Tony Trischka (banjo), Joe Craven (topical class), Spencer Bohren (American Songbook Guitar), Sharon Gilchrist (mandolin), Missy Raines (bass) and Laurie Macallister (singing), among others.

Thanks to donations to the Targhee Music Foundation non-profit, the Camp is offering the scholarships to “advance beginner or beyond” across three categories—Local (for participants that live within 100 miles of Grand Targhee), Young (eighteen and younger), and Open. To apply for a scholarship, send a one page or less letter of intent to targheemusiccamp@gmail.com. All winners will be contacted by June 1st. Tuition for the camp is $575.
