JACKSON, Wyo. — In the more than 15 years that Center for the Arts has been a part of the Jackson Hole community, it’s provided access to the arts and cultural programming, for locals and visitors from one to 101.
This year is no different than those that have come before as The Center continues to host and plan programming that supports the diversity of interests in the arts here in Jackson. You may have walked by The Center park recently and seen the winding and twisting willow branches being turned into something magical by visiting artist Patrick Dougherty. Or maybe a loved one takes music, art or dance classes at one of the 20 resident organizations that call The Center home.
Donations through Old Bill’s allow The Center to continue to provide a location for these unique organizations to run their programming and for The Center itself to bring regional and international artists, like Patrick Dougherty, to our community.
Your donations to The Center support our important work on our campus, including:
- Serving as the home to 21 arts and cultural non-profits, and providing reduced rent from market value to each non-profit
- Hosting events
- In 2021 – 41 virtual and 116 in-person events
- In 2022 – 75 events to date
- Arts Programming – eight artist exhibitions to date in 2022
- Partnering with over 57 community non-profits this year
- Offering over $300,000 in rent relief to The Center’s resident organizations over the past two years
Help keep The Center as a hub of arts and culture in our community by supporting them during Old Bill’s season. Donations are open Aug. 12 through Sept. 16 on Old Bill’s website, search “Center for the Arts.”
