Fighting for a Teton County that works for the people who live here — not just those who can afford it.
A message from Keep Jackson Whole:
JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County is at a crossroads. The choices we make now will determine whether the people who live and work here can continue to call this valley home — and whether we protect the lands, wildlife and community character that make Jackson Hole worth fighting for.
That is why Keep Jackson Whole PAC proudly supports Luther Propst, Ali Dunford and Karyn Chin in the Democratic primary for Teton County Commission.
This election is about accountability. Too often, decisions about growth and development move forward without clear, enforceable commitments that put local people first: real workforce housing, protection for neighborhoods and wildlife, needed public infrastructure, and transparency when developers seek exceptions or public support.
Luther brings proven, steady leadership and deep experience in conservation, thoughtful land-use planning and public service. Ali brings the perspective of a community builder who has worked directly on food security, resilience and the challenges facing working people. Karyn brings a grounded commitment to listening, organizing and building a future where local families and workers can remain part of this community.
It feels as though our community is operating with its nerves frayed. When growth makes Highway 22 deadly for commuters, it’s time to say no. When the people our community depends on — doctors, firefighters, and EMS personnel — can no longer afford to live and work here, all the while we have a record number of calls for service — it’s time to say no. And when developers seek more luxury short-term rentals while working people are pushed further out, it’s time to say no.
Keep Jackson Whole PAC believes Teton County needs commissioners who ask the hard questions before voting yes: What does the community receive? Who is protected? How will developers be held accountable when promises are not kept?
Together, Luther, Ali and Karyn understand that housing, conservation, transportation, public safety and a healthy local economy are not competing priorities. They are the building blocks of a strong, whole community that will protect what we love, confront the challenges we face and help ensure Jackson Hole remains a place where a broad, connected community can thrive.
Voters want change: a County Commission that puts community before special interests and demands accountability before approving growth. Luther Propst, Ali Dunford and Karyn Chin are the slate to deliver that change.
Vote in the Democratic primary on or before Tuesday, August 18. The election will be close and your vote will make the difference as six Democrats compete for three County Commission seats.
