JACKSON, Wyo. — Snow King is excited to welcome guests back to the summit for a fun summer season.

The Scenic Gondola, Aurora Restaurant and the Snow King Observatory & Planetarium are officially open for the summer season — and open daily.

Whether folks are looking for a peaceful gondola ride, an awe-inspiring journey through space or a memorable mountain-top meal, there’s something for everyone — even if the weather isn’t ideal.

Rain in the forecast?

The views from the gondola are still incredible, and Snow King’s indoor experiences at the Observatory and Planetarium make for a perfect way to spend a cloudy day. Escape the gray skies and head to the summit to enjoy:

  • Planetarium shows running throughout the day
  • Interactive Science on a Sphere sessions
  • New exhibitions, guided star talks and more

Aurora’s new summer menu

Aurora Restaurant returns with a new, expanded menu created by Chef Brandon Hicks, featuring fresh summer flavors, hearty mountain cuisine and a refined wine and cocktail list.

The Aurora patio has opened, offering additional seating and the opportunity to dine along the glass with panoramic views of Jackson Hole.

Make it a night at the summit

New this season: the Dinner + Planetarium Pairing. Enjoy an evening that includes a planetarium show followed by dinner at Aurora — or flip the order for a different experience. It’s a unique way to enjoy both stargazing and fine dining in one unforgettable visit.

Come see what’s new, enjoy the ride and take in the beauty of Snow King — rain or shine.

All other activities (Snow King Zip Line, Treetop Adventure, Mini-golf, Cowboy Coaster) open for the summer season on Friday, May 23.

Only a few few tickets remain for the summer concert series: https://snowkingmountain.com/king-concerts/.
