JACKSON, Wyo. — Nov. 1 marked the first day of the Town of Jackson’s ordinance that forbids overnight street parking due to winter street maintenance. Parking is banned from 3 a.m. to 7 a.m. on all streets and in all alleyways until April 15.

The Jackson Police Department has announced that it will be placing motorist advisories on vehicles violating the ordinance until the first major snow.

If snowfall requires that streets be plowed, vehicles that are left on the street will be towed at the owner’s expense.

The Town of Jackson reminds residents that parking is available in the Town’s parking garage on Millward and Simpson. The first 10 hours are free, then parking costs $5 an hour at a maximum daily rate of $20.
