JACKSON, Wyo. — Got a story to tell?

The Teton County Library will host the last Cabin Fever Story Slam of this winter season at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, at the Virginian Lodge. This time, storytellers must prepare to adhere to the theme “yes.”

Storytellers who wish to compete will throw their names into a bucket upon arrival at the venue, and, if their names are chosen, they will stand before the audience to tell a true, personal, five-minute story relating to the theme.

A panel of judges will award prizes to their top three storytellers at the end of the evening. Audience members with no story to tell can still participate by contributing themed mad libs that emcee Jeff Moran reads aloud between stories.

The free storytelling competition has occurred monthly from November through March. Stay tuned for information on potential outdoor story slams this summer. Last year, the Story Slam series celebrated its 10th anniversary.
