JACKSON, WYO – A winter storm has brought significant snowfall to Jackson Hole Mountain resort, 13″ have been reported in the last 24 hours and 17″ in the last 48. Grand Targhee Resort is reporting 4″ in the last 24 and 8″ in the last 48 Hours.
Jackson can expect another 3 to 5 inches today along with frequent wind gusts of 25 to 35 mph.
The roads around Jackson are very slick with additional snowfall and blowing / drifting snow. Teton pass is currently open with chain law in effect and as always during the winter no trailer traffic.
Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Slow it down and drive safely!
