WYOMING — Wyoming State Parks (WSP) is joining park systems across the country the day after Thanksgiving in waiving entrance fees on Friday, Nov. 29, for the annual Opt Outside event.
The seventh annual Opt Outside event is a day for all to get outside, give thanks and spend time in nature, according to WSP. Families are encouraged to choose to “Opt Outside” as an alternative to Black Friday shopping.
The National Park Service suggests listening to natural sounds, watching wildlife, fishing and exploring starry skies as ways to Opt Outside.
