START expands service to Star Valley

JACKSON, Wyo. — START Bus says it will add another commuter run to Star Valley beginning in December in response to demand.

START’s commuter service expansion will include a fourth commuter run for Star Valley beginning Monday, December 2, 2019. Departure times from Etna will be 5:30 a.m., 6:25 a.m., 6:50 a.m. and 7:20 a.m. Departures from Jackson will be 4:39 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.

“Throughout the year, activities occur within our community that can affect our transit system—traffic patterns, economic factors, ridership and customer feedback,” said START Bus Director Darren Brugmann. “We respond by considering and implementing changes to our bus system that will potentially help improve our service and meet the needs of the community.”

START Bus is also reminding passengers that the winter schedule begins Saturday, November 30, 2019. The winter schedule runs through Sunday, April 12, 2020. This change will bring with it an additional run to/from Star Valley, increased service to/from Teton Village and later Town Shuttle service each day.
