Dr. Bailey holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Utah and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine. When it came to choosing family medicine as his focus, Dr. Bailey was inspired by his own family physician.

“He was my doctor since I was five,” Dr. Bailey said. “He had that full spectrum training, and he did it all. I just thought he was so smart, and he knew what was going on in my life. He’s still a mentor and a good friend.”

As a family physician, Dr. Bailey addresses every aspect of a patient’s wellbeing.

“There’s so many different factors that affect our health, from day-to-day activities to what we eat, where we live and even how far we have to drive to work,” Dr. Bailey said.

Whether a patient is coming in for an annual checkup or navigating a serious condition, Dr. Bailey maintains a committed approach to patient care.

“Your family and friends love you,” Dr. Bailey stressed. “You deserve to be here, you deserve to be healthy and your loved ones deserve to have you here, too.”

Outside of his practice, Dr. Bailey enjoys the outdoors and is an avid musician, playing guitar and piano. He grew up visiting Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park every year on family trips and looks forward to planting roots in Star Valley.

“I love the idea of a community involving me in their lives and being able to take care of them, from birth to end of life,” Dr. Bailey added. “This is my dream.”
