JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The bankless Gros Ventre has spread itself all over the place. The latest soaked out area is Spring Gulch, in particular Cattleman’s Bridge, which will shut down thru-traffic on the local’s favorite detour to the airport and points north.
Sheriff’s deputies noticed the bridge didn’t look right. They called the county road and levee crew who inspected the bridge. They observed large trees carried by the current have slammed up against the structure’s footers and wedged there in the pillars causing the bridge to begin noticeably buckling.
