JACKSON, Wyo. — All events at the Snow King Sports and Event Center are canceled this week and for the foreseeable future.
The decision was made by CMI, the managing company of the ice rink, to close the facility to the public effective immediately. Ice was to have been pulled on Thursday.
The shutdown will cancel recreation league playoff hockey and other community events.
Howie Carruth, partner with CMI, said it was the right thing to do in light of the community’s efforts to stem the spread of the coronavirus.
No decision has been made yet on scheduled dry floor events like conventions this spring.
