JACKSON, Wyo. — The season continues to inch forward. Snow King Mountain Resort is set to open tomorrow, Dec. 11. From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. the Cougar Lift will be running for those interested in skiing and riding.

On Saturday, Dec. 12, the magic carpets at the top of the mountain will open for the season after the resort announced a delayed opening due to lack of snow and warmer temps. Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and Grand Targhee both had delayed openings this year as well.

As of Thursday afternoon, Dec. 11, Snow King Mountain Resort reports a 10-inch base of snow at the summit and 8-inches at the bottom of the hill. The snowfall season total is 25 inches.
